March 10, 3:30-4:30 p.m.: “Toward A More Personalized Web” with Heather Brunner
In order for websites to get smart, they must generate a personalized experience. WP Engine CEO Heather Brunner will go in depth on what it takes to create a brilliant web experience in this SXSWi presentation on Friday, March 10 at the Austin Chamber of Commerce at 500 E 4th St.
March 11, 9-11 a.m.: Taco ‘Bout It
Start off SXSW the right way by joining WP Engine at our event Taco ‘Bout It on Saturday, March 11 at Max’s Wine Dive located at 207 San Jacinto Blvd (there will be breakfast tacos!). A few special guests from the Webby’s will be in attendance, including their Managing Director Claire Graves who will present on “How to Win a Webby.”
Space is limited so be sure to get there before capacity is reached! Each attendee will also receive a special SXSW survival kit. We can’t wait to taco ’bout it with you.
March 13, 5-10 p.m.: ATX Startup Crawl at SXSW
Stop by and say hello to WP Engine at this year’s Startup Crawl. Our booth will be located on the atrium level of the Omni Hotel in downtown Austin. Pick up some awesome swag and get all your questions about WordPress answered. And if you’re looking to join the team at one of Austin’s best companies to work for, we’ll have recruiters there as well.
March 16, 12:30-1:30 p.m.: “Ask Before You Need: Startups, Investing & You” with Jason Cohen
Due to low business startup costs, the emergence of free cloud computing, and the ubiquity of social media, acquiring venture funding has completely changed in the past 20 years. In this talk, join WP Engine’s CTO Jason Cohen, who will discuss this topic on a panel at the Startup Village at Salon D of the Hilton Austin Downtown.
