Regarding #2: The Ultimate Guide to WordPress Plugins. Why is WP Engine promoting this PDF of suggested plug-ins when many of them are on the WP Engine banned list?
Here are some of the plugins mentioned in the PDF that are banned by WP Engine:
* BackUpWordPress
* Backwpup
* Wordfence
It makes me question if I should not be using other plug-ins on this suggested list from WP Engine.
