Last week we held our 4th All Hands event—where all of WP Engine’s remote and Austin-based employees come together at our Austin HQ.
All Hands provides us with a wonderful opportunity to plan for the future, meet our remote colleagues face-to-face, and bond as a company.
Our Executive Team delivered a series of inspiring presentations on Thursday, inviting the team to reflect on the past, think about the future, and better understand what goes on in the different parts of WP Engine.
Four deserving employees also received our Quarterly Supercharged Awards. The awards—part of our broader Employee Recognition program—go to team-members who have been nominated by their peers for going above and beyond the call of duty to achieve one of our company values. Congratulations to the winners!
Our Operations Team did a wonderful job at providing entertainment and nourishment throughout the week. We played our own company version of Jeopardy, “oohed” and “aahed” during our baby photo guessing game, and wore our crazy animal shirts.
It’s amazing to think that just 30 people attended our November 2012 All Hands event, because this time we had a whopping 97 attendees!
As WP Engine continues to grow, we’ll keep honoring the All Hands tradition. It provides a wonderful opportunity to remember why all of us love what we do at WP Engine, and to share that passion with newcomers to the team.
Right now, we’re hiring for a lot of positions. So if you’re into technical support, engineering, marketing, sales, administration, employee experience—(and crazy animal t-shirts)—please take a look at WP Engine Careers and apply.
If you don’t see a position that exactly matches your skills—but you are passionate, smart, and driven—we encourage you to get in touch using the relevant link on the WP Engine careers page.

That’s good to see all the team members, which made WordPress hosting faster.
