C.R.E.A.M – Cache Rules Everything Around Me

Laughter is a big part of WP Engine’s culture. While we’re working hard to keep our customers happy, and everyone’s sites fast (both of which we actually consider fun), we make sure to find opportunities to have fun, and keep a good sense of humor with everything that we do.

The video above, Cache Rules Everything Around Me, C.R.E.A.M., is inspired by our cultural values, and reflects some of the creativity and fun that we have on a daily basis at WP Engine. Cache Rules Everything Around Me is another way of saying, “we’re a bit obsessed with keeping customer sites loading amazingly fast.” If you’re a hip-hop fan, you’ll recognize the song was inspired by the landmark Wu-Tang-Clan track.

The video was put together by the members of WP Engine’s culture club, each of whom is an artist in their own right. Leandrew Dixon wrote and performed the song, Alexander Shenkar directed and filmed, and Andrei Matei is featured in the video at one of his regular DJ gigs.
