As you might already know, WP Engine launched “Hug A Dev” week earlier this month. The concept was relatively simple: hug a developer to show your appreciation for all of their hard work and earn some sweet swag.
But “Hug A Dev” week was about more than just hugging. It was about celebrating the hard work put forth by developers, which all too often goes uncelebrated.
Hugs aren’t the only way to show a dev you appreciate their work. You can give them a high-five, praise them with a “you rock!” or nominate them to receive an all-expense paid trip to the WordCamp of their choice! That’s right, WP Engine will send one lucky developer to the WordCamp of their choice and cover the cost.
