WordCamp Atlanta 2016 wrapped up this past weekend and we’ve got some photos to share from the event. Take a look at what went down this year in ATL.
WordCamp Atlanta was held in the heart of the city at the Loudermilk Center, within walking distance from numerous hotels, restaurants and other attractions.

Alex Kosub, a WP Engine support specialist based in San Antonio helped out throughout WordCamp ATL. Some WP Engine customers recognized him from his Zendesk profile picture. Here’s what Alex had to say about his favorite part of WordCamp:
“I loved being able to interact face to face with the WordPress community and hear about the impact our company has had in the community to increase the ease of their blogging lifestyle. I absolutely loved all the time I spent in the happiness bar and being able to educate and support our customers and WordPress users in general achieve solutions to problems or inquiries they had…I was extremely humbled by all of the amazing things our customers had achieved with WordPress and how much new knowledge I was able to acquire from each and every person I was lucky enough to meet!”

Andrew Wikel with WooCommerce stopped by to say hello. 🙂
“You can do the best work of your life, and WordPress can empower you to do that.” A key point in our own Shayda Torabi’s talk “5 Ways WordPress Can Change Your Life.” Shayda walked us through how some of her close friends in the community use WordPress.

Our friend Josh Pollock (author of The Ultimate Guide to the WordPress REST API and frequent Torque Magazine contributor) …most likely doing something REST API related. Or just checking his email.

Closing remarks were given by WordCamp lead organizer by Kathy Drewien. It was a packed house!
