At Campfire Guitar, our website is the foundation for everything we do. It’s an ecommerce site. It’s a marketing engine. It provides content to our customers. It has to be stable and it has to be fast. Ultimately, it has to rock!
But we don’t have an in-house technical team, which made getting our website in order a daunting task. We were working to build our business and become the one-stop shop for aspiring guitar players to buy and learn the guitar; we didn’t have time to become web developers and our own technical support team.
In our quest to get our site ready to take the stage, we seemed to have a revolving door of platforms, developers, hosts – none of which delivered the level of technical support we required.
Word of mouth brought us to the managed WordPress platform hosted by WP Engine.
From the moment we finished the install, we felt more in control of our websites. We are confident in the decisions we’re making. We know the necessary updates will be made. And we receive regular feedback from the WP Engine team about ways to optimize not only our site, but also our business. Every time we check in with the support team – at any time of day – it adds immediate value.
If we were with another host, we’d have to pay for hours of dev work.
It’s very similar to the work we’re doing – we’re saying that it’s not scary to learn the guitar and anyone can do it. That’s exactly how we feel with WP Engine: any business can have an awesome website without the technical overhead of the day-to-day management.
With WP Engine’s technical support team, we’re confident that we’re working with people who not only understand the technical aspect of our sites and can proactively identify performance roadblocks and bottlenecks, but who also understand our business goals. That’s a rare combination.
And the results we’ve seen since cutting over have been astounding. Our page load times have decreased as our performance has increased. The speed is fantastic. And from a reliability perspective, we’re confident that we can handle a massive influx of traffic without having to worry about the site crashing.
With WP Engine, we can ensure our site is a rock star as we build our business.

Thanks for your TECHNICAL SUPPORT & SECURING our sites.
